“Thanks to JAMA Oncology for highlighting our work. The early separation of PFS and OS curves suggests that chemo-IO may prevent early deaths due to PD, potentially allowing more time for an immune response to build up. Results from the large phase 3 INSIGNA trial are eagerly awaited!”
Quoting JAMA Oncology:
“A meta-analysis found first-line chemoimmunotherapy provided longer overall and progression-free survival than PD-(L)1 inhibitor monotherapy in advanced NSCLC with high PDL1, though with greater toxicity.”
