“I’m excited to see our work and my first first-author research publication as a postdoctoral fellow in Cell Reports Medicine by Cell Press, and featured in this article by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The study demonstrates that Regnase-1 knockout B7-H3 CAR T cells can remodel the tumor microenvironment, enhance antitumor immunity, and provide durable tumor control in preclinical models of osteosarcoma, supporting the development of a future clinical trial.
I am deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to this work and especially honored to have trained under the mentorship of Dr. Stephen Gottschalk and Dr. Hongbo Chi. Their guidance, scientific rigor, and commitment to translating fundamental discoveries into therapies for our patients have been invaluable to my development as a scientist.
