Following VIRO 2025 Success, Arcus Biosciences Continues Partnership in 2026

Following the success of VIRO 2025, Arcus Biosciences continues its partnership with VIRO – Global Voices in Renal Oncology as an Innovation Supporter of the 2026 edition.

After supporting last year’s congress, Arcus is once again contributing to the global educational initiative as VIRO returns virtually on September 10–11, 2026, bringing together experts from around the world to discuss advances and challenges in kidney cancer care.

About Arcus Biosciences

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Hayward, California, Arcus Biosciences is a clinical-stage global biopharmaceutical company developing differentiated molecules and combination therapies for cancer and other diseases.

Its research strategy is built around internal drug discovery and the development of therapies targeting well-defined biological pathways, with a strong focus on rational combination approaches.

The company’s oncology pipeline includes casdatifan, an investigational HIF-2α inhibitor being developed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma, and quemliclustat, an investigational CD73 inhibitor being studied in pancreatic cancer.

Kidney cancer is an important area of Arcus’ current development strategy. Casdatifan is being evaluated across multiple treatment settings in clear cell RCC, including as monotherapy and in combination approaches. The ongoing Phase 3 PEAK-1 trial is studying casdatifan in patients previously treated with immunotherapy.

This growing focus on renal cell carcinoma creates a natural connection between Arcus Biosciences and VIRO, where emerging therapies, treatment sequencing, and the translation of new evidence into clinical practice are among the key themes.

About VIRO 2026

VIRO 2026 – Global Voices in Renal Oncology is a global virtual congress organized by OncoDaily and dedicated to the evolving landscape of kidney cancer care.

Taking place on September 10–11, 2026, the congress will bring together international specialists to discuss current standards of care, emerging therapies, multidisciplinary management, and real-world challenges in renal oncology.

The scientific program spans the full spectrum of renal cell carcinoma, including localized and metastatic disease, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, treatment sequencing, biomarkers, surgery, survivorship, and access to care.

VIRO 2026 also places a strong emphasis on global perspectives and equitable access, creating a platform for experts from different healthcare systems to exchange experience and discuss how advances in kidney cancer treatment can be translated into practice worldwide.

Continuing the Partnership

Arcus Biosciences’ support of VIRO 2026 builds on its involvement in the previous edition of the congress, continuing a partnership centered on scientific exchange and global renal oncology education.

OncoDaily extends its appreciation to Arcus Biosciences for its continued support and for serving as an Innovation Supporter of VIRO 2026.
