Phoebe Ongadi

Phoebe Ongadi is a global public health and cancer advocacy leader with over 15 years of experience in health systems management, advancing equitable oncology care across Africa. She plays a key role within the Kenya Network of Cancer Organizations (KENCO), where she leads multi-stakeholder partnerships, drives program implementation, and supports resource mobilization for national and regional cancer control initiatives.

Phoebe Ongadi has represented Kenya in several global and local health and oncology forums, contributing to policy dialogue and knowledge exchange. Through policy advocacy engagement with the Kenyan Governance, she is actively contributing to landmark reforms of cancer oncology packages, helping shape more accessible and patient centered care.

With a strong background in community engagement and health systems coordination, Phoebe is passionate about amplifying African oncology voices and improving access to information, prevention, and care. Her work spans cancer policy advocacy and strengthening health systems to better serve vulnerable populations in low- and middle-income countries.
