OncoDaily was proud to host a special live session during the ASCO 2026 Annual Meeting in Chicago: OncoDaily Grand Rounds at ASCO: Sarcoma Edition with Dr. Sandra D’Angelo and Dr. Herbert Loong. This exclusive program brought together renowned experts to highlight the key developments shaping the sarcoma field. Attendees gained a deeper understanding of how the latest evidence influenced treatment strategies and future directions in sarcoma care.
Here is a list of highlights made by different members of OncoDaily team and specialists from other companies during the OncoDaily Grand Rounds at ASCO: Sarcoma Edition

“OncoDaily Grand Rounds: Sarcoma Edition has just started live from Chicago during the ASCO 2026 Annual Meeting.
OncoDaily is proud to host this special session at the Hilton Chicago, bringing together experts and attendees for discussions focused on the evolving landscape of sarcoma care. The session opened with remarks by Dr. Amalya Sargsyan, Head of the Sarcoma Department at D’Clinic.
The Grand Rounds is chaired by Sandra D’Angelo and Herbert Loong.
Now speaking: Dr. Robin Jones on “Targeted Therapies and Biomarker Testing for Diagnosis and Treatment.”

“First day at 𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐎, and a truly insightful discussion on sarcoma hosted by OncoDaily.
Despite its rare prevalence, sarcoma often remains underrepresented in broader oncology discussions.
It was exciting to hear experts explore emerging advances, including immunotherapy, ADCs, and other treatment strategies.
Looking forward to the inspiring scientific days ahead!”

“OncoDaily Sarcoma Grand Rounds is live!
The room is full of sarcoma insights, great discussions, and incredible people. So happy to see this community coming together.”

“OncoDaily Grand Rounds at ASCO 2026: Sarcoma Edition has started – bringing the sarcoma community together for a focused discussion on where the field is moving next.
With Dr. Robin Jones, Dr. Javier Martin-Broto, Dr. Sandra D’Angelo and Dr. Herbert Loong, the program looks across the full spectrum of emerging sarcoma care:
Targeted therapies moving earlier in the treatment journey, biomarker testing becoming more central, immuno-oncology showing benefit in historically less responsive sarcoma settings, T-cell receptor therapies opening new directions, and ADCs gaining attention across soft tissue and bone sarcomas.
Great to see the sarcoma community together at OncoDaily Grand Rounds.”

“We continue the OncoDaily Grand Rounds: Sarcoma Edition live from Chicago at American Society of Clinical Oncology – ASCO 2026, moving into the next set of talks focused on advancing treatment strategies in sarcoma.
Javier Martin-Broto discusses “Combining Chemotherapy with Immuno-Oncology (IO) Agents,” highlighting emerging combination approaches in sarcoma treatment.
This is followed by Sandra D’Angelo, who presents on “T-Cell Receptor Therapy,” focusing on novel immunotherapeutic strategies shaping the future of sarcoma care.”

Nice to meet the folks at OncoDaily today! They put on a great program at ASCO2026.
“Looking forward to an exciting ASCO.”

“Thank you to OncoDaily for setting the stage for an exciting ASCO 2026 by hosting Grand Rounds: Sarcoma Edition. And thank you to the expert panelists – Dr. Jones of Royal Marsden, Dr. Martin-Broto of Fundación Jiménez Díaz, Dr. D’Angelo of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Dr. Loong of CUHK – for delivering an excellent discussion previewing the themes likely to shape sarcoma conversations over the weekend.
Themes to look out for IMHO at ASCO26:
- Biomarkers: extending utility beyond diagnosis, with translational work focused on discovery of predictive and resistance biomarkers, characterization of responder subsets, and a strategic focus on where next-generation sequencing (NGS) can provide clinically actionable value
- Combo approaches – chemo + immunotherapy (IO): deeper omics-based characterization to identify who benefits, refine combination and maintenance strategies, and optimize the balance between immunogenic cell death (chemotherapy effectiveness) and preservation of antitumor immunity (to maintain IO activity) to improve outcomes
- T-cell and adoptive cell therapies (ACTs): refining established ACT approaches such as TCR and TIL therapy, and strategically extending them with complementary modalities, including mRNA neoantigen vaccine strategies, targeting of membrane-associated tumor antigens, and exploitation of neoantigens that are either patient-specific or broadly shared across tumors
- ADCs: optimizing the interplay among antigen, linker, and payload, exploring next-generation approaches such as bispecifics, and improving our understanding of mechanisms of resistance
A strong start and an excellent preview of what we can expect ahead for sarcoma research at ASCO 2026.”
