Wafik El-Deiry: Inside Yvonne Award Ceremony 2025
The Yvonne Award, inspired by the enduring strength of the yew tree, honors outstanding contributions in oncology. Its distinctive Y-shaped sculpture symbolizes resilience, celebrating young innovators and leaders who are driving progress in cancer care.
The 2025 Yvonne Award ceremony took place during the OncoDaily Party on May 30, 2025.
Wafik El-Deiry (USA), Associate Dean for Oncologic Sciences at the Warren Alpert Medical School and Director of the Legorreta Cancer Center at Brown University, shared his insights from the OncoDaily Party and the 2025 Yvonne Award event:
