Triparna Sen: Advances in lung cancer basic and translational research in 2025
Triparna Sen, Associate Professor at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, shared a post on X:
“Excited to share our new paper from the IASLC Basic and Translational Science Committee: Advances in lung cancer basic and translational research in 2025.
This paper is the result of incredible teamwork from a truly global and diverse group of scientists. I had a lot of fun putting this together.
Grateful for the visionary leadership of Drs. Ming Tsao, Dr. Celine Mascoux, and I am honored to serve as a co-first author alongside some amazing colleagues.
The review covers key developments in NSCLC, including:
Molecular risk factors and tumorigenesis
Tumor heterogeneity and phenotypic plasticity
Metabolic reprogramming
Immunobiology and the tumor microenvironment
Microbiome
This is the first of many such collaborative efforts from the Basic and Translational Science Committee. The energy, commitment, and synergy in this group is truly inspiring.”
