Paediatric Oncology Training Transforms Childhood Cancer Care in Ghana – World Child Cancer
World Child Cancer shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Two-month paediatric oncology training transforms care for children with cancer.
World Child Cancer’s partnership with the Ghana College of Pharmacists at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital has empowered pharmacists through an intensive two-month internship in oncology pharmacy – transforming their skills, mindset, and compassion.
Pharmacist Isaac Bekoe, one of the trainees, reflects:
“The pharmacists internship not only strengthened my clinical skills but also instilled in me the values to care for some of the most vulnerable patients in the world, including those who have lost hope.”
Your support helps equip healthcare professionals with the expertise, empathy, and dedication needed to provide the best possible care for children with cancer.
