Fumiko Ladd Chino: This System Stymies Access to Care for about 11 Million Undocumented Immigrants

Fumiko Ladd Chino, Associate Professor in Radiation Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, posted on X about a paper she co-authored with colleagues published in The Lancet Oncology:

New Paper: The US does not have a comprehensive national health insurance plan. Instead, coverage is derived from a patchwork of various federal, state, and local policies. This system stymies access to care for about 11 million undocumented immigrants currently contributing to the US economy.
