Elias Orouji is a Staff Scientist and Epigenomics Lead at the University Health Network’s Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. As Principal Investigator and Scientific Advisor at the Epigenome Lab, his research focuses on the epigenomic characterization of human cells transitioning from dysplasia to neoplasia.
His team investigates chromatin state changes during cancer progression and metastasis, aiming to identify epigenetic alterations and develop targeted therapeutic compounds to address these changes.
