Stefano Cinti: Another small but important step towards our goal of liquid biopsy on chip
Stefano Cinti, Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry at University of Naples Federico II, shared post on LinkedIn:
“Another small but important step towards our goal of liquid biopsy on chip! At the Nano(bio)sensors Lab a new paper has been published in Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry Springer Nature Group and it has been selected as ‘Paper in forefront’. .
With the use of a paper-based electrochemical strip, empowered by an ease-to-preconcentrate paper-based tool, circulating miRNA associated to cancer has been detected down to pM level!
A big thank to all co-authors Wanda Cimmino, Ada Raucci, Sara Pia Grosso and Nicola Normanno, to funding AIRC – The Italian Foundation for Cancer Research ETS , to PalmSens BV for providing the great device, and to Department of Pharmacy, University of Naples Federico II, Sbarro Health Research Organization for the support!
You can read the publication here.”
