Jill Feldman: Must-read about the burdens and barriers patients face

Jill Feldman shared a post by Nathan Pennell, Vice Chair of Clinical Research at Cleveland Clinic Cancer Institute, on X:

“The burdens and barriers patients face when participating in dose-finding oncology trials (DFOTs) – This fantastic article focuses on the patient perspective.

There are direct AND indirect barriers BEYOND trial access and addressing these barriers will require partnering with patients! Tools such as PROMs should be used to understand the barriers/burden and to develop innovative solutions.

If you want to really understand the patient experience and/or take steps to improve it, this is a must-read!”
