W. Gregory Sawyer: Engineering Cancers End
W. Gregory Sawyer, Moffitt Cancer Center Chief BioEngineering Officer, shared on X:
“Engineering Cancers End.
Our paper outlining an interdisciplinary approach to confront the complexities of cancer was just published in the journal Cancer Cell.
We proposed that an interdisciplinary team focused on cancer using the methods and principles of engineering will accelerate cancer research.
We illustrated a conceptual framework for Cancer Engineering by arranging 12 cardinal fields around a tumor and envision that these areas work together to make advances and discoveries in cancer.”
