In my latest op-ed for Arab News I reflect on why the upcoming Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance replenishment is a pivotal opportunity to scale the fight against vaccine-preventable cancers like cervical and liver cancer.

As President-Elect of Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), I will continue to advocate for sustainable vaccine access as a cornerstone for national cancer control strategies, especially for low middle income countries.

In the current uncertain clime facing global health funding, Investing in Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, is taking a stand for equity, resilience, and long-term health security.
