Navneet Majhail: Outpatient Administration of Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cell Therapy Using Remote Patient Monitoring
Navneet Majhail, Physician-in-Chief of Blood Cancers at Sarah Cannon, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Sharing our Sarah Cannon Cancer Network experience on outpatient CART in this review in American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Journal of Oncology Practice. Our five Sarah Cannon Transplant and Cellular Therapy Network programs across HCA Healthcare performed 200+ CART procedures in the outpatient setting using remote patient monitoring in 2024 – sincerely hope our learnings can help other programs who are working on implementing these therapies outside the hospital.
Appreciate the wisdom of our program leaders/cell therapy experts and coauthors Jeremy Pantin, Aravind Ramakrishnan, Minoo Battiwalla, Paul Shaughnessy, Michael Tees, Stephanie Larson, and Tonya Cox, and our collaborators Matt Wilkes and Nicole Zahradka from Best Buy Health.”
