Arya Roy: Our study in JAMA Network Open on preoperative chemosensitivity in early-stage breast cancer
Arya Roy, a Hematology-Oncology Fellow at the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, shared the a post by JAMA Network Open on Twitter, adding the following:
“Excited to share our study in JAMA Network Open on preoperative chemosensitivity in early-stage breast cancer. Black patients, even with pCR experience poor survival outcomes!”
Quoting JAMA Network Open:
“Findings suggest the presence of racial and ethnic disparity in preoperative chemosensitivity among patients with early-stage breast cancer and that there is a need for personalized treatment options for Black patients.”
