Join the 19 for 19 challenge to celebrate Anya’s life – CCI
Children’s Cancer Institute (CCI) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Today marks four years since 19-year-old Anya sadly lost her life to osteosarcoma.
Anya bravely faced her diagnosis and relapses throughout her teenage years and was determined to change the future for other children with osteosarcoma.
Anya’s Wish was established in her memory, to fund life-saving research into this terrible disease.
On Sunday 20th October, you can support Anya’s Wish by participating in the 19 for 19 challenge – a 19km walk across three beautiful properties and finishing at the magnificent Dangar’s Falls, to celebrate the 19 precious years Anya lived for.
Whether you join us for the 19km walk in Armidale or join virtually and walk, run or cycle 19km, you will be helping to make a difference for generations to come.
Registrations are open now, so follow the link in our bio and join the 19 for 19 challenge to celebrate Anya’s life.
With your help, Anya’s Wish can become a reality.
We know that we can cure childhood cancer – it’s not if, it’s when.”
