National Cancer Society Malaysia is one of the proud recipients of the Home Away From Home grant

Childhood Cancer International (CCI) shared a post on LinkedIn:

“The National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) is one of the proud recipients of the Home Away From Home grant, supported by CCI and FoundationS.

NCSM now offers a new home with 14 rooms, each accommodating 1 child and 1 caregiver. Renovations are complete, and the facility is ready to welcome families.

To provide the best care, they’ve hired new staff, including care assistants, a nutritionist, a play therapist, and a counsellor.

Activities are already underway—offering leisure and educational sessions, play therapy, and nutrition guidance for both patients and caregivers.

They’re also raising awareness about the new home and its services in the community.”
