Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must work or volunteer at a not-for-profit patient advocacy organization with a charitable mission.
- The organization must engage in patient advocacy activities benefiting people affected by cancer.
- Applicants must submit a meritorious abstract for the AACR Annual Meeting.
- The submitted abstract must be accepted for presentation at the AACR Annual Meeting for the award to be granted.
- Applicants do not need to be AACR members.
- Applicants with 5 or more years of laboratory experience are not eligible.
- An individual may receive only one Patient Advocate in Cancer Research Award per year.
- An organization is limited to two awards per year.

- Maximum Award: $1,500
- The award is intended to offset registration and travel expenses associated with attending the AACR Annual Meeting.
