The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) Collaborative Catalyst Research Award 2027 supports multidisciplinary, multi-institutional research teams working to accelerate progress in pancreatic cancer research.
The award is designed for collaborative projects addressing complex pancreatic cancer challenges that require coordinated expertise across institutions, with the goal of advancing translational research and improving patient outcomes.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must hold a doctoral degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent).
- The research team must include at least three Principal Investigators from at least two institutions.
- The contact PI must be an independent investigator at an accredited U.S. academic, medical, or research institution.
- Collaborating PIs may be from U.S. or international institutions.
- Industry collaborators may participate but cannot serve as PIs or receive grant funds.
- Projects must propose a collaborative, multi-institutional research program.
Funding Details
- Funding: Up to $900,000 total
- Duration: Up to 24 months
- Individual sub-project funding: Up to $300,000
- Indirect costs: Maximum 10%
