LCRF and OUCH-International are partnering to fund projects that examine the impact of environmental pollution and climate change on lung cancer risk, diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes, along with innovative strategies to mitigate these effects. Supported by AstraZeneca and administered jointly by the Lung Cancer Research Foundation (LCRF) and Oncology Advocates United for Climate and Health – International (OUCH-I), this is one of the only global grants exclusively targeting the environmental and climate-change drivers of lung cancer. It is open to all career stages and all geographies, making it substantively distinct from LCRF’s standard early-career grants. No LOI is required; direct full proposal submission only.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants may be at any career level: post-doctoral researchers, clinical fellows, or early-, mid-, or senior-career investigators
- Applications from US-based and international organizations are welcome; applicants may hold any residency or citizenship status
- Must be affiliated with a non-profit academic or research institution
- No indirect/overhead costs permitted; one application per investigator per cycle
Funding Details:
- $200,000 USD over two years (direct costs only)
