The Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA) Immuno-Oncology / Medical Oncology Fellowship offers intensive clinical and research training in the management of melanoma and complex skin cancers at one of Australia’s leading melanoma centers.
MIA is offering three full-time, one-year fellowship positions beginning in February 2028. Fellows will gain experience in immuno-oncology, multidisciplinary cancer care, clinical research, and the management of patients enrolled in Phase I, II, and III clinical trials involving novel immune and targeted therapies. The position provides a base salary of AUD 139,187 per year. (Melanoma Institute Australia)
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants should be medical oncology trainees, RACP Fellows, or overseas equivalents.
- Candidates should have recent experience working in Medical Oncology through a formal training program or have completed their training.
- Applicants should have a strong interest in melanoma, complex skin cancers, immuno-oncology, and clinical trials.
- International applicants are eligible to apply as overseas equivalents.
- MIA states that appropriate regulatory assistance will be provided to facilitate the strongest international candidates.
- Fellows should be prepared to participate actively in multidisciplinary patient care, clinical trials, and clinical research activities.
