The National Cancer Institute (NCI) invites R01 applications for research that integrates imaging and fluid-based tumor monitoring, including liquid biopsy assays, during cancer therapy.
The goal is to determine how these complementary approaches can be used together to characterize treatment response and identify the emergence of treatment resistance. The initiative encourages collaboration among imaging scientists, liquid biopsy assay developers, and clinical scientists and supports studies in patients receiving cancer treatment.
