
Common Sense Oncology Fellowship in Cancer Policy
The Sinclair Cancer Research Institute at Queen’s University invites applications for a one-year fellowship starting July 1, 2025. This program offers immersive training in cancer policy and health services research, supporting the development of future leaders in the Common Sense Oncology movement—a global coalition advancing equitable, patient-centered, and outcomes-focused cancer care.
Eligibility Criteria

Within 5 years of completing (or near completion of) clinical or medical oncology training

Demonstrated interest in: clinical trial design, value-based care, health equity, patient-centered outcomes, shared decision-making, and/or global oncology

Open to Canadian and international applicants

Clinical practice during the fellowship may be accommodated

Based at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario

Opportunity to lead peer-reviewed publications or policy papers

Limited clinical duties to maintain practice competency (if applicable)
