The Bone Cancer Research Trust, in partnership with CCLG: The Children & Young People’s Cancer Association, is accepting applications for an Idea Grant restricted to research on Ewing sarcoma and osteosarcoma.
The program supports discovery research testing novel ideas, proof-of-concept studies generating preliminary evidence for future funding applications, and small translational projects with the potential to lead to larger research programs. Eligibility Criteria:
- Applications are open to researchers and clinicians working at academic or clinical institutions.
- Applicants may be based in the UK or internationally.
- Applications from early-career researchers and younger academics who do not hold tenured positions are encouraged.
- Proposed projects must focus specifically on Ewing sarcoma, osteosarcoma, or both.
- Projects may test a novel research idea, establish proof of concept, generate preliminary data, or support a small translational study.

Funding Details:
- Funding is usually capped at GBP 35,000 per project.
- Awards of up to GBP 50,000 may be considered in exceptional circumstances.
- Applicants seeking more than GBP 35,000 must contact the Bone Cancer Research Trust before submitting their application.
