ESO CTC Fellowships at Comprehensive Cancer Center Ulm

3–6 month ESO Clinical Training Centre observerships/residencies at CCCU, an NCT SouthWest site and German Cancer Aid “Oncology Center of Excellence.” Fellows train within multidisciplinary teams across leukemia/lymphoma (incl. CAR-T, allo/auto transplant), gastrointestinal tumors (incl. robotic surgery & ERAS), breast oncology, sarcoma, lung cancer, neuro-oncology, radiation oncology, and psycho-oncology, with strong exposure to early-phase trials and precision oncology.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Doctors specialized within the last 5 years (or completing by start).

  • From Europe, Mediterranean countries, or Latin America.

  • Prior ESO participation (≥1 ESO event or ≥5 e-ESO sessions).

  • Language (observership): good German to follow clinics/MDTs.

  • Language (residency): German B2 minimum (Baden-Württemberg approval).

  • Track availability as Visiting Observership or Visiting Residency per centre rules.

Funding Details:

  • ESO economy travel reimbursement + EUR 2,000 gross per month.

  • Duration: 3–6 months (observership or residency, per programme).

  • ESCO credits: 120 (3 months) or 240 (6 months).

  • Trainee covers any medical council/authority registration; accommodation not provided.
