ESO Clinical Training Centre Fellowships – Centre Léon Bérard

3–6 month ESO Clinical Training Centre observerships/residencies at Centre Léon Bérard (CLB), a leading comprehensive cancer centre in Lyon. Fellows train within multidisciplinary teams across sarcoma, radiation oncology, gynaecological cancers, breast imaging, interventional/diagnostic oncology, haematologic malignancies (incl. CAR-T), genitourinary and thoracic oncology, and molecularly guided breast cancer.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Doctors specialized within the last 5 years (or completing by start).

  • From Europe, Mediterranean countries, or Latin America.

  • Prior ESO participation (≥1 ESO event or ≥5 e-ESO sessions).

  • Language: French or English; very good French required for residency.

  • Residency fellows must be accepted by the Conseil de l’Ordre des Médecins du Rhône.

Funding Details:

  • ESO economy travel reimbursement + EUR 2,000 gross per month.

  • Duration: 3–6 months (observership or residency, per centre rules).

  • ESCO credits: 120 (3 months) or 240 (6 months).

  • Trainee covers any medical council registration; accommodation not provided.
