3–6 month oncology fellowships at The Royal Marsden via ESO’s Clinical Training Centres. Tracks in gynaecological cancers and sarcoma with high-volume clinics, MDTs, and active clinical trials. Stipend plus travel; residency placements require GMC registration.
Eligibility Criteria:

Doctors specialized within the last 5 years (or completing by start); regions: Europe, Mediterranean countries, Latin America.

Prior ESO participation: ≥1 ESO event or ≥5 e-ESO sessions.

Fluent English; residency fellows must hold GMC registration and meet IELTS requirements.

Enrolment: Visiting Observership (3–6 months; no direct patient contact) or Visiting Residency (6 months; direct patient contact). Surgical oncologists are accepted only for residency.

Funding Details:

ESO refunds economy travel and provides EUR 2,000 gross per month.

Duration: 3 or 6 months.

ESCO credits: 120 (3 months) or 240 (6 months).

Trainee covers any medical council registration costs; accommodation not provided.
