Six-month visiting residency fellowships at The Christie through ESO’s Clinical Training Centres, offering structured, multidisciplinary oncology training with intensive clinic exposure and research involvement. Tracks include Upper GI (OG/HPB/NET), Lung Cancer, Experimental Cancer Medicine in Immune-Oncology, and Lower GI.
Eligibility Criteria:

Doctors who have specialized within the last 5 years (or will complete by start).

From Europe, Mediterranean countries, or Latin America, and with prior ESO participation (≥1 ESO event or ≥5 e-ESO sessions).

Fluent in English; The Christie requires GMC registration and IELTS proficiency for residency status.

Programme tracks are medical/clinical oncology; fellows integrate weekly MDTs, clinics, and research clinics.
Funding Details:

ESO refunds economy travel and provides EUR 2,000 gross per month.

Duration: 6 months at The Christie (residency only; direct patient contact).

ESCO credits: 240 for a 6-month fellowship.
