Rising Tide Foundation Clinical Cancer Research Grant

The Rising Tide Foundation for Clinical Cancer Research (RTFCCR) is now accepting applications for its 2025 Clinical Cancer Research Grant Program. This initiative aims to support innovative, patient-centered clinical trials that have the potential to significantly improve the quality of life, treatment options, early detection, and survivorship for cancer patients worldwide.

Eligibility:

Principal Investigator must:
- Hold a doctoral degree
- Have completed postdoctoral training
- Hold a faculty appointment (or equivalent) at an academic or independent research institution
- Be an independent researcher with institutional support and resources
Both new and established investigators are encouraged to apply
Projects must clearly show departure from ongoing funded work
Applicants with existing RTFCCR awards during the proposed new grant period are ineligible

Improved Patient Outcomes
Therapy Optimization
Disease and Treatment Burden
Implementation Research
Science of Early Detection and Intervention
Advancing Cancer Research in Underserved Areas (especially Sub-Saharan Africa)

Application Requirements:

CV for PI and co-investigators (max 2 pages each, PDFs)
Full research proposal (NIH-style format) including:
- Specific aims
- Background and significance
- Preliminary data (if available)
- Experimental design and methodology
- Statement on how the research will impact current patient care or improve early detection/prevention
Completed Patient Involvement Plan
Patient Consent Form
Detailed budget justification, including costs for patient participation
