The EHA-EBMT 9th European CAR T-cell Meeting will take place from February 4–6, 2027, at the Centro de Congressos de Lisboa in Lisbon, Portugal.

Jointly organized by the European Hematology Association (EHA) and the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT), the three-day in-person meeting will bring together clinicians, scientists, nurses, industry representatives, patient advocates, and other professionals involved in CAR T-cell therapy.

The meeting will explore the rapidly evolving CAR T-cell landscape, from clinical successes and emerging indications to the remaining challenges surrounding manufacturing, delivery, toxicity management, long-term safety, and durable efficacy. The programme will feature scientific advances, clinical updates, real-world applications, and opportunities for multidisciplinary discussion and collaboration.

Particular attention will be given to CAR T-cell efficacy and toxicity, biomarkers and prediction models, innovative T-cell engineering, CAR design and optimization, manufacturing methodologies, mechanisms of treatment response and resistance, and the management of early and late toxicities.
