Sung-Min Hwang Will Start a New Position as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor at UNIST
Sung-Min Hwang, Assistant Professor at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m thrilled to share that I will start a new position on September 1, as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, a leading research university in South Korea, dedicated to cutting-edge science, technology, and innovation.
At HWANG Lab, Our research focuses on understanding how T cells adapt to and are shaped by complex tissue environments, particularly within tumors. We aim to uncover the fundamental mechanisms that reinvigorate T cell function in cancer. By integrating immunology, multi-omics, cell biology, and molecular approaches, we develop innovative strategies to restore T cell resilience and harness their full potential for cancer immunotherapy and beyond.
Grateful for the support and mentorship that made this journey possible — and looking forward to building new collaborations and training future scientists in this exciting next chapter.”
