“Congratulations to the next editor-in-chief, Bethany Samuelson Bannow, MD, MCR of Cleveland Clinic, who will begin her three-year term in January 2026. Bethany Samuelson Bannow will be the fourth editor-in-chief of the publication, succeeding Aaron Gerds, MD, MS, Cleveland Clinic, who has served in this role for the past five years.
Currently, Dr. Samuelson Bannow is the deputy editor of ASH Clinical News, having previously held the position of associate editor from 2021 to 2023.
‘My work to date with ASH Clinical News has been deeply rewarding, and I’m proud of how the publication has evolved,’ Dr. Samuelson Bannow stated.
In addition to her editorial role, Dr. Samuelson Bannow is the Director of Classical Hematology Cleveland Clinic. She specializes in treating patients with bleeding disorders, particularly focusing on women with thrombosis and abnormal uterine bleeding, as well as hematologic disorders affecting pregnancy.”
