World Child Cancer and Upside Down House UK Are Celebrating International Day of Play on June 11 in Bristol
World Child Cancer shared a post on LinkedIn:
“On Wednesday 11th June, World Child Cancer and Upside Down House UK are celebrating International Day of Play with a one-of-a-kind event in Bristol, bringing families together for a playful experience with global impact.
At Upside Down House Bristol, families can take part in imaginative play activities, view artwork created by children undergoing cancer treatment across the world and create their own messages of solidarity to send to children in care.
For children with cancer, play is far more than just fun, it’s a way to process emotions, reduce anxiety, and find moments of joy during treatment.
This year’s theme, ‘Choose Play – Everyday’, reminds us all, governments, families, organisations, to protect and prioritise every child’s right to play.
Let’s build a world where every child has the chance to play, heal, and thrive.
