World Child Cancer Continues to Support Pediatric Cancer Care in Malawi Through Its Partnership With Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital
World Child Cancer USA shared a post on LinkedIn:
“At the end of the day, where there is increased recruitment of health care workers, we also know that service delivery will be improved, we will have medicines in hospitals, and people in very hard-to-reach areas will be able to access services.” – Makhumbo R. Munthali, director of partnerships and grant acquisition for Partners in Health – Malawi.
In Malawi, economic challenges—like limited funding and national debt—are holding back progress in healthcare delivery. But organizations like Partners In Health are working to change that by addressing root causes and pushing for long-term solutions.
World Child Cancer is proud to continue its work in pediatric cancer care in Malawi—our first program site—through our partnership with the oncology unit at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital.
