“Last month, the UF Health Cancer Center team shared their expertise on clinical research operations at the 17th Annual AACI (Association of American Cancer Institutes) Clinical Research Innovation (CRI) Meeting in Chicago!
Thomas George our deputy director and the outgoing CRI Steering Committee chair, gave opening and closing remarks and moderated a panel discussing collaborations between industry and cancer centers.
David DeRemer, Pharm.D., participated in a panel on investigator-initiated trials. Erin Monari, Ph.D., CCRP, moderated a breakout session on protocol activation and Alison Ivey, R.N., M.S., M.B.A., OCN, CCRP, moderated one on the CCSG.
Our team also presented five posters, one of which was a collaboration with Huntsman Cancer Institute on inter-site data and safety oversight for IITs.
We’re proud of our whole team for helping to lead innovations in clinical research, for the ultimate benefit of the patients we serve!”
