Thor Halfdanarson: Struggling with response assessment in patients with NETs?
Thor Halfdanarson, Vice President of the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society, posted the following on X:
“Struggling with response assessment in patients with NETs following PRRT…? If so, you are not alone. Check out this report from ENETS by Christophe Deroose, Justo Castano, Simona Glasberg, Hans Hofland, Angela Lamarca and others. Good stuff!”
Follow-up comment by Thor Halfdanarson:
“Interestingly, there was an agreement that interim (midpoint) imaging should be done in patients on PRRT, after the 2nd or 3rd cycle which has been my practice since I began offering PRRT. Just over 50% recommended combining SSTR PET w/ anatomical x-sectional imaging like CT/MRI.”
