“Cancer and cardiovascular diseases have become one of the key issues of modern medicine. With cancer survival rates increasing and treatments becoming more complex, the need for coordinated care for their cardiovascular health is a major clinical challenge.
Recognizing this need, the National Institute of Oncology, in cooperation with national and international partners, organizes the first ever congress fully dedicated to cardio-oncology – The Summit on Cardio-Oncology Excellence 2025, which will be held on September 11, 2025 under the slogan: “Combining oncology and cardiology for better patient outcomes”.
The aim of the meeting is to bring together the communities of oncologists, cardiologists, haematologists and public health experts in the spirit of interdisciplinary cooperation to improve the quality and safety of oncological patient care. The conference will bring together outstanding specialists from Poland and abroad, including representatives of such prestigious organizations as ESMO, ESC, ESTRO, EHA and IC-OS.
The Summit will be an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience in the field of:
- cardiac prophylaxis in oncology,
- integrated models of care,
- interdisciplinary cooperation,
- and the latest research and clinical solutions.
