“Fanconi anemia is a rare genetic syndromic disease associated with shorter life-expectancy. Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is useful to treat severe cytopenia or clonal evolution but it does not impact on non-haematological phenotype, especially on the predisposition to develop secondary solid tumors.
