Executive Order to Change Prescription Drug Prices
U.S. FDA shared a post on X:
“FDA Commissioner Dr. Martin Makary with Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Jay Bhattacharya and Mehmet Oz as President Donald J. Trump signs Executive Order to bring the prices Americans and taxpayers pay for prescription drugs in line with those paid by similar nations.”
Martin Makary, 27th Commissioner of the FDA, shared this post, adding:
“The fundamental problem in healthcare is that we’ve had non-competitive markets. We can do little things around the edges, or we can transform those markets to competitive markets, and that’s what this executive order does today.”
