Master Course in Pediatric Oncology Expands to Armenia – Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology
Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Regional Impact: Master Course in Pediatric Oncology Expands to Armenia
Make it easier for professionals to participate, also for our colleagues in partner hospitals. With a program even more tailored to the region, completely customized. These are important reasons to offer our Master Course in pediatric oncology regionally instead of only in Utrecht, Netherlands.
Last June, we held a Master Course for the first time in Yerevan, Armenia, together with our partner institute Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center, Ministry of Health of Armenia and St. Jude Children’s Research HospitalGlobal. The focus was on hematology-oncology, supportive care, and palliative care. The 45 participants from across the region – from Eastern Europe to Central Eurasia – were, like us, very enthusiastic about this setup ‘close to home’.
This formula will definitely continue next year in Yerevan! Thanks to all faculty members, including our own colleagues Jan Loeffen, Arjanne van Norel, Lenneke Schrier, Gertjan, Gert-Jan Kaspers, and prof. dr. Rob Pieters for their contributions.”
