“The Colorectal Cancer Alliance is strengthening its commitment to Project Cure CRC, which funds cutting-edge colorectal cancer research and aims to improve patient outcomes.
This week, the Alliance presented two poster sessions about the initiative at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting. In addition, Project Cure CRC has awarded three new grants:
Brandon Bordeau, University of Michigan College of Pharmacy – Antibody PROTAC Conjugates for the Treatment of Colorectal Cancer ($200,000)
Karin Pelka, Gladstone Institutes – Shattering the Immunotherapy Ceiling in Colorectal Cancer ($500,000)
Raul Mostoslavsky, Massachusetts General Hospital – Targeting Novel Drivers of Metastatic Disease in Colorectal Cancer ($200,000)
To date, the Project Cure CRC investment in innovative colorectal cancer research totals more than $11.2 million with 24 grants funded.
