Herbert Loong: The theme for this year’s NZSO conference is “Power in Making Connections”
Herbert Loong, Chair-Elect of the International Affairs Committee at the American Society of Clinical Oncology, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The theme for this year’s New Zealand Society of Oncology conference is “Power in Making Connections“.
Thank you all for this very prestigious invitation to come to Auckland as a plenary speaker and to participate in this amazing forum. There is a lot that we can learn from, collaborate with and synergise between each other to move precision oncology onto centre stage. Looking forward to future partnerships!”
Dr. Herbert H. F. Loong is the Chair-Elect of the International Affairs Committee, a Scientific Track Member (2022-2024), and the Track Leader for Sarcoma (2023) at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Additionally, he has been promoted to Steering Committee Member at the Lung Cancer Policy Network. Dr. Loong is also the Chairperson of the Asia Pacific Coalition against Lung Cancer, a Board Member of the Connective Tissue Oncology Society, and a Committee Member of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Oncology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).
