Christian Ntizimira: Palliative care is not just about end-of-life care – it’s about improving the quality of life
Christian Ntizimira, Executive Director of ACREOL, shared a post on X:
“What role does palliative care play in addressing cancer care across the Common wealth?
A reimagined palliative care system in the Common wealth must address disparities in access, cultural sensitivities, and healthcare infrastructure.
There’s a pressing need to fight the stigma around palliative care. It’s not just about end-of-life care; it’s about improving the quality of life for patients and families Rwanda.
Key figures like Rt. Hon. Patricia Scotland, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, and Ashley Dalton inspire urgent efforts to rethink delivery and impact in cancer care across the Common wealth.
These discussions at Marlborough House, London, underscore innovative thinking and collaboration to shape future cancer care solutions.”
