Childhood Cancer International – Europe Urges EU to Prioritize Health in 2028–2034 Budget
Childhood Cancer International – Europe shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Yesterday, the European Parliament adopted its plans for the EU’s long-term budget for 2028–2034, known as the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF). This budget sets the limits on how much the EU can spend in different areas, including health.
Later this summer, the European Commission will publish its proposal on how they think the money should be spent. This is a key moment to ensure health remains a top priority, especially for rare diseases like childhood cancer, where working together across Europe can save more lives than countries acting alone.
Together with our partners in the EU4Health Civil Society Alliance, we’re calling for a EU budget that invests in stronger health systems and leaves no one behind.
Because a stronger European Health Union begins with the right investments.”
