Dangers of Oversimplifying Childhood Cancer – World Child Cancer USA
World Child Cancer USA shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It’s a common myth that childhood cancer is one disease with a single treatment. In reality, there are many types of cancer that affect children.
They can appear at different ages, in different parts of the body, and behave in different ways. Each case requires a specific diagnosis and treatment plan based on evidence and best practices.
Oversimplifying childhood cancer leads to missed opportunities for better care.
World Child Cancer is working to ensure every child gets the treatment that fits their diagnosis.
The World Health Organization Cure4All framework here.”
