“Please help us start accomplishing our goal starting now and into the new year. We have been serving newly diagnosed families and survivors impacted by childhood, adolescent, and young adult cancer in West Virginia for 12 years and have helped over 400 families and in Pittsburgh for 1 year and already are close to serving 50 families which includes Pediatric and AYA (Adolescent and Young Adult) families, and just getting started. We have given away over $200,00 in travel assistance and that doesn’t count our iPad and Android tablets or our port shirt, which is our Package of Hope, as well as my free book about my families cancer journey.
I Am A Walking Miracle on Amazon. If we had been able to get the funding faster after we had our first gala in 2013, we would have given over $300,000 combined with our travel assistance. We accomplished our biggest goal last year and that was to reach all 55 counties in the rural state of West Virginia. Every one of these families and survivors we consider Walking Miracles.
