Bilal Awad: Honored to participate in the 10th EfCCNa Congress held in Bologna-Italy
Bilal Awad, Oncology and Palliative Care Nurse Specialist and Critical Care Nurse at the Palestinian Ministry of Health, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Honored to Participate in the 10th EfCCNa Congress that held in Bologna-Italy from 12-15 March 2025.
The European Federation of Critical Care Nursing Associations (EfCCNa) Congress is a key event for critical care nursing in Europe. Although I couldn’t travel from Palestine, I am grateful for the opportunity to present my abstract, ‘Nurses’ Knowledge, Attitudes, and Self-Efficacy Toward Palliative Care in the ICU,’ via a recorded session.
Palliative care in intensive care settings is a crucial topic, and I’m thankful to the EfCCNa Board Members and President for supporting my participation despite the challenges.
A special and heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Babette Schmidt, the owner and founder of Your Conference Support
Babette, with your kind heart and incredible dedication, you made it possible for me to be part of this important event.
Your efforts, coordinating, facilitating, and even capturing moments through photos and videos mean the world to me. You truly go above and beyond to support nurses and researchers worldwide!
Looking ahead, I hope to present my research in person at the International Council of Nurses (ICN) 2025 in Helsinki-Finland in June 2025, Excited for more opportunities to contribute to critical care and palliative nursing on the global stage!”
