
Essential Highlights from the 4th Biennial Miami Leukemia Symposium
From April 25 to 27, 2025, the 4th Biennial Miami Leukemia Symposium took place at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove in Miami, Florida, hosted by the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. The event brought together some of the top clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals to discuss the latest in leukemia care, stem cell transplantation, and new scientific breakthroughs.
The symposium focused on modern treatment strategies for both acute and chronic leukemia, giving attendees the chance to learn about the genetic and clinical factors influencing these diseases. Experts also discussed the growing role of stem cell transplantation in treating leukemia, sharing the latest insights into its use.
Throughout the event, there was a deep dive into a variety of important topics, such as managing myeloid neoplasms, acute myeloid leukemia (AML), chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Participants explored the most effective approaches to patient care and the evolving landscape of leukemia treatment.
