Hatem Werdany: Honored to announce AstraZeneca Egypt’s partnership with the Ministry of Health and Population – Egypt
Hatem Werdany, Country President of Egypt at AstraZeneca, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“At AstraZeneca Egypt, we’re committed to strengthening the healthcare system in alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030. We take pride in being part of this transformative journey in Egypt’s healthcare sector as we continue to provide innovative solutions with a strong focus on human development.
As a continuation of our collaborative journey, I am honored to announce AstraZeneca Egypt’s partnership with the Ministry of Health & Population – Egypt for the “Bedayet Tabeeb” program, under the umbrella of “Bedaya,” the Presidential Initiative for Human Development.
This partnership was graced by the esteemed presence of H.E. Dr. Khaled Abdelghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population; H.E. Gareth Baily, British Ambassador to Egypt; and Prof. Dr. Hani Eteiba, President of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
Through the Ministry of Health’s Learning Management System, we aim to uplift the capabilities of 10,000 primary care and family medicine physicians through an accredited curriculum from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. This training curriculum will cover various non-communicable diseases, as well as digital healthcare solutions and sustainable practices.
This partnership reaffirms our commitment to supporting healthcare transformation and ensuring equitable access to healthcare for all.”
